Introduction
The best way to gain experience working in a wiki is to just jump in and try it!
Most wikis have a special page called a sandbox. The sandbox is a designated area where new users can "play around" with wiki formatting, features and editing.
For this "Thing," we have a whole wiki site to use as our sandbox!

Discovery Exercise:
Visit the wiki sandbox and complete the activities that are listed there on the home page.

Learning Activity:
1. Write a reflective blog post about your experience in the sandbox. Describe the steps you went through to complete the discovery exercise and your feelings as you played in the sandbox.
2. Be sure to include a link to your personal sandbox page in your post.
3. Include "Thing 9" in the title of your post.

I have asked to join the wiki and it hadn't given me permission. I will move to the next things until I hear from someone about permission to play in the sandbox.
